ImPrEP CAB Brasil will be present at IAS 2023

The 12th Conference on HIV Science (IAS 2023) will take place in Brisbane, Australia, from July 23 to 26, 2023, presenting up-to-date information from research related to the topic. Through its open and inclusive program, the meeting establishes the gold standard of science around HIV/AIDS, disseminating highly diversified works from several areas.

With a program based on symposia, satellite symposia, presentations and posters supported by the world’s leading experts, the event will address innovative technologies such as long-acting injectable cabotegravir (CAB-LA) for anti-retroviral treatment and for pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP), as well as topics related to mental health, sexually transmitted infections, testing, novel programmatic approaches, innovation and integrated interventions, basic science, among other topics.

Always present at the main international foraon HIV, AIDS and PrEP, the ImPrEP CAB Brasil project, in partnership with Unitaid and the Brazilian Ministry of Health, will be at IAS 2023. The highlight will be the conduction of the satellite symposium “Preparedness for CAB-LA PrEP implementation – the ImPrEP CAB Brasil Project”. The project will also have oral and poster presentations.

Another highlight of the IAS 2023 program will be the satellite symposium organized by Evandro Chagas National Institute of Infectious Diseases/Fiocruz in partnership with the State University of Bahia and the Federal University of Bahia: “Innovative and real-time testing, care, and surveillance of Covid-19 response in an evolving pandemic in local contexts”.
