ImPrEP CAB Brazil: a diverse program at IAS 2025

From July 13 to 17, 2025, Kigali, Rwanda will host the 13th IAS Conference on HIV Science (IAS 2025), considered the world’s most influential meeting on HIV research. This biennial conference, organized by the International AIDS Society, showcases the latest innovations in HIV that bring cutting-edge science into policy and practice. IAS 2025 will also place special emphasis on long-acting injectable technologies and current political and financial issues affecting the HIV response, including their implications for Africa and the rest of the world.

The ImPrEP CAB Brazil project will once again be present at the conference, offering a diverse program featuring the results of scientific studies not only related to HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP), but also addressing mpox and other sexually transmitted infections. A special highlight is the organization of the satellite symposium “Implementation of long-acting PrEP in real world settings – the ImPrEP project”, where the study protocol for ImPrEP LEN Brazil will be presented.
